If you are a Kindle user (or use the Kindle app on your smartphone or tablet), Amazon has a nifty piece of software that makes the process much easier. You can download that here. Once you’ve installed it to your computer, you just download your free book and then right click the file you just downloaded and choose ‘send to Kindle’.

If you don’t have access to a computer to install that app on, then this page has instructions on how to email files directly to your Kindle.

Lastly, on many of the Kindle Fires tablets, when you send yourself a book via Amazon’s “Manage Your Content” it shows up in your Documents section on the Kindle Fire rather than the Book section.
